How it Works

2. ePCR Finalized
The report is reviewed, locked, and prepared for delivery — structured, complete, and compliant.
3. SDX Delivers It
SDX routes the report to the receiving destination using the method that fits their system — whether that's direct EHR integration, a secure web portal, or fax. The right data gets where it needs to go, every time.
SDX Standard
Delivers the ePCR directly into the patient’s record in the receiving destination’s Electronic Health Record system via Direct Messaging.
SDX XER
XER, formally XChangER, is a proprietary application that electronically delivers the patient care report to the receiving destination where it can be printed or downloaded and saved manually to the patient’s chart. XER can also be used as a status board to alert staff to incoming patients and provide vital patient information prior to arrival.

XER Deep Dive
When your crew is en route with a patient, time matters on both ends. XER's status board gives receiving destination staff a real-time view of incoming patients — vital information available before the ambulance pulls in. That means ED charge nurses can prepare, not react.
Reports delivered through XER can be printed, downloaded, or manually saved to the patient's chart, making it a practical fit for destinations that aren't yet integrated with a full EHR system but still need clean, accessible documentation.
